Lasting World Journal

Editorial policy

Lasting World Journal aims to publish clear, accurate and independent editorial work about how people pass on knowledge, memory and meaning. We separate editorial judgement from commercial arrangements and make corrections when we find that something is wrong or unclear.

Accuracy and context

We take care with dates, terms, attributions and descriptions of cultural practices. We avoid presenting a single account as the whole story when experiences differ. Our articles explain what is known and make uncertainty clear; they do not invent examples, quotations or personal histories to make a point.

Independence and labelling

Editorial decisions are made for reader interest and relevance. A commercial relationship does not guarantee coverage or editorial approval. Any sponsored or partner material we publish is clearly labelled so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial content.

Corrections

If you spot a factual error or an unclear passage, please contact us with the page title and the detail in question. We review correction requests and update material when warranted, making significant changes clear to readers where appropriate.

Images and illustrations

Images are chosen to support the subject and should not be mistaken for evidence of an event or person unless they are identified as such. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; when an image is AI-generated, we label it accordingly.
